Ms. Wirth

Hello! My name is Julia Wirth and I am excited to start my third year at Vanguard Classical School East as the Vocal Music Director. I received my Bachelor Degree in Music Education from the University of Colorado, Boulder with an emphasis in Choral Music. I am currently pursuing my masters in education with an emphasis in Curriculum Studies. Along with teaching choir, I also teach middle school core music classes, high school music composition, and high school piano. I am the adviser for our NHS chapter, co-sponsor our school’s Tri-M Chapter, as well as music direct the school musical and am a frequent visitor in culinary club. I enjoy performing just as much as I do teaching and have toured with choirs throughout Colorado, San Francisco, New York and Boston. My most recent performances have been as a featured soloist in masterworks like Arnesen's Magnigicat (2019) and Mozart's Requiem (2020). I’m a Colorado native so naturally, I enjoy hiking and spending time outdoors!
