My name is Nicole Nina, and I am the School Social Worker at the East Campus. I have two master's degrees in Social Work and Political Science & Public Policy, a bachelor's degree in Political Science, Philosophy and Sociology and an associate's degree in Paralegal Studies. I have spent my career in law offices, non-profits, government and more recently clinical settings. I am incredibly passionate about the impact schools can have on future generations and our leaders of tomorrow. I am honored to begin this school year with Vanguard Classical. In my free time, I enjoy listening to Supreme Court arguments, salsa dancing, playing with my three children and exercising. I encourage students, parents and other community members to reach out to me with any questions or concerns. I am here to make sure every family has an equal and equitable education for their children.

My name is Shequeeta Hazard and I was born and raised in Colorado Springs, CO. I have five siblings and 3 nieces and nephews. I recently left Arapahoe County Department of Human Services, as a Social Case Worker. Prior to being a Social Case Worker, I worked at a crisis center/stabilization unit and residential treatment facility for youth in DYS as a therapist in Fort Collins, CO.
I got my Bachelors and Masters in Social Work at Colorado State University, and I am pursuing my DSW at Capella University. I enjoy doing clinical work and interacting with individuals from different backgrounds and cultures.
I enjoy being outside, reading and I really love water sports. I want to go skydiving this summer. Fun Fact: I am obsessed with Corgis, and I collect corgi items I see in stores. 😊 (Sadly I do not have one yet.)
