My name is Cody Nuzzo. I am going to be your Cross Country coach for this season. A quick intro to who I am so I'm not a complete stranger. I am from a small town in Pennsylvania. I played all sports in high school including cross country, football, soccer, track, basketball, and baseball. I ended up playing football in college at a D2 school and from there played professional football for 3 years before joining the military. I just recently got out of the military and I live in Parker with my wife and dog Willow.
So other than participating in many sports throughout my life, I am a Level 2 Speed Specialist through the National Association of Speed and Explosion. What this allows me to do is to make Speed, Agility, Strength and Endurance programs at the professional level. If you never ran before, that's no problem, we can get you going nice and easy and make sure that running is enjoyable and that your getting better everyday. If your goal is to qualify for state and get a college scholarship as a senior, then we will make sure we are putting in the work to make that an obtainable goal.
I look forward to working with all of you.
Coach Cody Nuzzo
I am Carrie Herring, 5th and 6th grade literature teacher and middle school cross country coach. I started running when I was a kid when I joined a running team for people with asthma. It was something my mom and I always did together. Last year I was pleased to be considered for the middle school cross country coach position, and I really enjoyed working with our amazing middle school team last year. I am pleased to once again be working with the middle school team this year. I can't wait to see all the amazing things they will accomplish this year.
